AfricanaAI, a tech platform building intelligent systems that empower people across Africa to access knowledge in the languages they think, learn, and live, is opening a new step in the AfricanaAI journey through its new features.
Native speakers can now contribute authentic Hausa text and voice data directly on our platform, helping build AI systems that truly understand African languages, culture, and communication.
According to the team “This new rollout is all about ensuring African languages are represented in the future of artificial intelligence.”
The new features specifically allows contributors to:
• Submit text and voice samples
• Help improve African language AI models
• Earn points and recognition for quality contributions
• Become part of a growing language technology community
The new features currently only support Hausa, but efforts are ongoing to make Fulbe, Yoruba, and Igbo contributions available in the near future.
