ROBOTICS & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE NIGERIA (RAIN) is happy to announce the commencement of applications into the Developer Bootcamp, 3rd in the series of roll outs by The AI Academy Nigeria 2026.
AI Academy is supported by Meta in collaboration with FMCIDE, NCAIR Nigeria, NITDA Nigeria and 3MTT Nigeria.
The bootcamp is a free, live online programme for Nigerian business owners, founders, creatives, executives and developers. Over twelve weeks successful applicants learn the tools, use them on their businessrs, and build live and verifiable solutions

Foundations
How AI works, using it responsibly, and putting it to work on your career, your writing and your content, through to turning an idea into a business plan and a first prototype. Taught on the AI 101 curriculum developed for Meta.
December
The Ideathon
Each team works up a business idea with a mentor and pitches it to judges at the Ideathon final.
December to January
Creative AI for Business
Five practical modules: building your brand story and voice, spotting trends and making content that travels, producing images, video and voice, reaching people in Nigerian languages, and communicating well with customers, staff and investors. Each one covers the ready-made tools and how to build your own.
February
The Hackathon
Teams build an AI product or campaign with mentors over three weeks and present it at the Grand Finale.
