We’re announcing our first partner event for the Techiesnode Storytelling Masterclass: a standalone session hosted at TechRoom Innovation Hub, Ibadan .
This one matters to us. The Storytelling Masterclass exists to close a gap we keep running into across the Ibadan tech and creative ecosystem, founders, communicators, and builders who have real stories to tell but no structured way to tell them well.
Before the full training program rolls out later, we wanted to open with something tangible: a one-off, in-person session that gives people a real taste of what the Masterclass is about.
TechRoom’s space on Sango-Eleyele Road gives us that room, full workspace access, reliable power, and a setting that doesn’t require anyone to worry about whether the lights will stay on for two hours. That’s not a small thing when the whole point of the session is to keep people focused.
TechRoom’s existing community of founders, freelancers, and builders also overlaps naturally with who this event is for. Attendees won’t just be sitting in a hired venue, they’ll be stepping into a space that’s already active with the kind of people the Masterclass is designed to serve.
The event is set for August 8, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM, at TechRoom Innovation Hub, opposite The Polytechnic Ibadan on Sango-Eleyele Road. It’s a standalone session, the full Storytelling Masterclass training program will follow later, with its own structure and timeline.
